365 Days with You
“We totally
disagree with this motion ("This House Would Agree the Prisoner Take Care
the Baby behind the Bars")".
It was spoken clearly by that girl. The final words were emphasized by
her that she disagree with that motion and made the adjudicators convinced with
her statement. That girl wore the glasses. She has brown and sharp eyes. She
looked mysterious; her style made most of people didn't believe that she was a
debater. But, when she delivered her argument, the people were surprising.
That girl
was Vina Sharzy, all people called her “Ina". The weather of National
Debate Competition was so tight after Ina delivered her argument. It was final
stage that Ina's role as the last speaker from all participants.
Suddenly...
“Well,
ladies and gentleman, the member of this house, all the participants from
affirmative and negative team have delivered their argument. And, as the
chairman of this National Debate competition let me announce who is the winner
of National Debate competition 2009. And the winner is.... the winner is....
Ok, both of team has given us their best performance. But, we have to choose
one of them. And, the winner is Negative team from SMAN 2 Jakarta." The chairman said
Ina and her
friends were surprised when the chairman was announcing the winners. They
looked each other. Ina felt that her blood moved to the brain and her heart
skipped like a drum. She was speechless. Her team conquered the hardest team
from a famous school in Indonesia that won National debate competition previous
year.
“Oh, thanks
to God, finally!!!! We win this competition". Nisa said
“I don't
believe it!!! Thanks God". Eci added
Ina just
kept silent. Nisa and Eci was Ina's partner in debate, but, they weren't close
in daily activities. Then....
“Well, the winner can go forward.
Give applause, please! The chairman asked
Ina and her
team were given the trophy and money as the reward from the leader of National
Debate competition execution. Then, they shook hand each other. But Ina looked
so worry, her step was unpredictable. What was on her mind? Only she could
answer it. A tall boy closed to Ina. Then, he gave his hand. And…
“Congratulation!” he smiled
“Yes, Thank you!” she replied
That boy
left Ina. But, her eyes couldn’t stop to looking at that boy. Ina counted every
single step that boy took when he walked away. Ina has never done like that.
She was well known as ignorant girl.
“Gee, what happened to me? She said
on her mind
“Hey, let’s go home! My mother is
waiting for us in the parking area!” Nisa said to Ina and hold her shoulder
“Oke! Ina replied
They went
to their own home. When Ina was in the Nisa’s car, without she realized, she
smiled at herself and made both of her partner were confused as long as way.
At Ina’s house…
“How’s your debate? Fara said when Ina was in front of their room
“Great! We won the competition! Far,
I met with that boy again, you know?
“Waaaahh!!! Treat me! Are you
serious? Fara enthusiastic
“Of course! As you know that we were
against with their team!” Ina explained
“What’s his name?” Fara asked
“Rafa! Yes, Rafa is his name”
“Ohhh, where’s he from?
“He’s from SMAN 70 Jakarta!”
“Oh, I’m proud you my sister, you’ve
conquered that school!” Fara hug Ina tightly
“Thank you, my beloved sister but
you have to take your hands from my body because I
want to take a bath!” Ina said
“Upps, sorry I forget it.
Ina opened
her notebook to surfing in social network after she took a bath. She got
frustrated when she was trying to find someone on the Facebook. She typed again
and again but the result was nothing
“Arggggh!!! Why don’t I find him on
the Facebook? She asked herself
The words
were typed by Ina was “RAFA”. She tried to find Rafa on the facebook, but she
couldn’t. Finally, she searched through mutual friends in SMAN 70. Suddenly,
there was Raffa Algani she found on karimah’s friend on the Facebook. She
opened his profile, then….
“Finally!!! I found him! Ina shouted
Directly,
she sent a friend request to Raffa. She just waited for Raffa’s confirmation.
And, Ina wrote on her facebook’s wall
“Finally, I found you J!!!”
Day 1
“Raffa
Algani accepted you as his friends. Write something on his wall”, she shocked
while she was reading the notification on her facebook. Then, she wrote a
message to Raffa
“Thank you for the acceptation. Nice be your friend J! Actually, your performance was
good. Unfortunately, you haven’t had good intonation L”
She was waiting his reply. But it was too long.
She decided to lay on her bed because it was on the midnight.
Day 2
Ina’s
school
That
morning was so bright, as soon as possible Ina went to school, she has high spirit
that morning. At the rest time, she and Kiki, her close friend went to the library,
their favorite place for rest time. They always read soccer magazine in the
library because both of them, Ina and Kiki were Football Holic. Besides, they
also have same passion and taste. Suddenly, there was a beep ring on Ina’s
phone. It was Facebook Notification.
“Raffa
Algani sent you a message” she read the notification
From : Raffa Algani
To : Vina Shezry
Subject : You’re welcome
You’re
welcome. Oh, you were from SMAN 2, weren’t you? I guess. You wrote “you haven’t had good intonation”
what’s you mean? Nice be your friend, too J
Kiki looked
at Ina, she smiled at herself. Then, she asked
“Are you crazy?”
“No, I am not! She smiled
“Why do you smile at yourself?” Kiki
added
“Nothing!” Ina replied
Ina still
smiled at herself. She held the hand phone on her hand and typed a message to
Raffa. She wrote:
Yeah, I’m from SMAN 2. Ehmm... it
means your expression. Your argument was so good; we thought that we would
lose. Supposing, your expression when you delivered the argument weren’t flat.
I believe you would be a winner.
Your message just sent! She read the
notification. She heard the bell rang and asked Kiki to leave the library and
back to their class. It was tired day. She just arrived at her house at 8.00
p.m because she has 3 courses at Wednesday.
Ina lie on her bed and she took her
handphone and she surfed again on Facebook. She made a status “Too tired, God L!”
“Raffa Algani like your status (y)” in
her notification, and again, she laughed at herself. The tiredness felt nothing
after she got new message from Raffa.
Raffa said…
Oh, I see. By the way, what is your
nickname? So, we can be closer *wink* hehehee
Her feeling was uncertain; she
didn’t know what she should write to reply Raffa’s message. It was the most
beautiful night ever. If only the moon could talk with her, she would tell what
she felt that night.
She replied….
You can call me Ina, now, I
remember! You’re student of English First, aren’t you? I’ve saw you about 3
times, so I can recognize you. J
Ina took her handphone beside her.
She got yawn and decided to close her eyes
“What a beautiful day is!” she said
before turned off the lamp
Day 3
Oke, Ina! Yeah, I’m student of EF.
Are you a student of EF, too? I think, you’re déjà vu. Hehehe….I have met you,
too. I don’t know, how many times, exactly. LoL
She read Raffa’s message as loud as
she could. What Ina have said with herself about Raffa was wrong. She took back
his words that Raffa was such kind of arrogant boy. He was friendly. There was
no one in her house because it was weekend. Her mother, father and sister went
to shopping. But, Ina more chose to stay at home. She replied…
Hahaha… you’re so funny, Raf. So
far, you’re nice person. Yeah, I’m student of EF, too
Day by day, they sent a message each
other. Ina felt everyday was colorful since she knew Raffa. She has never had a
relationship with any boy. Ina didn’t know how love could stroke someone. Again
and again she felt different after she was closer to Raffa. She asked herself
it was a love or instant desire?
They haven’t special topic when they
sent a message to each other, they just exchanged about their experience,
information about competition and also, they have never asked their phone
number each other.
Day 23
English First Course
She saw a
man in front of her. It was about 10 meters from Ina. She knew and convinced
that boy was raffa. Her heart skipped a beat and she got breathless. Ina wanted
to call him. But, she was shy. Ina hoped that boy was Raffa.
“c’mon…c’mon turn your body back,
please! Turn your body back, please! She said
Fortunately…
“Ina?” that boy said
“Raffa? That’s you?” She replied
“Yeah, as you see J ! Ohh, this is the first time we
meet as real friend. We talk face to face oh my…” he claimed
“Oh my…? Yeah, I’m glad to meet you,
Raf
“Unfortunately, I don’t have long
time to talk with you; I’ve a promise with my parents for my preparation to
France. He explained
“Never mind? You said France? You
want to continue your study in France?” Ina asked
“Ehemm… ok Ina, I must go on, now.”
He touched Ina’s shoulder
“Take care, Raff.” Ina shouted
Raffa waved his hands to Ina, she
replied with big smile.

Day 45
Ina wanted
to face national final examination. She has never sent a message to Raffa about
19 days. And, Raffa was busy with all his preparation to study in France. Ina
locked her facebook to focus on her examination. The conflict was happened in
Ina’s class on Tuesday when Bella, one of Ina’s classmate told to Ina that Kiki
wrote something on her wall about Raffa. Her tears fell down without she
realized when Bella told what Kiki has done with Ina.
“I have
never expected that Kiki, my close friend will do this crazy thing like
this”. She said to Bella
“Yes, if I were you, I’ll totally embarrass! Bella explained
That
morning was so dark; she felt the thunder attacked her. It was teardrops in the
rain! Kiki closed to Ina, she looked her friend cried.
“What happened, Ina? Kiki asked
“Ki, what did you do to me? What
happened with your Facebook? Ina questioned
“I don’t know what’s your mean, Na!”
“Don’t be verbose! Bella has told
me!” Ina got angry
“You’ve misunderstood with me; I do
it because I really care with you, Ina! I just regret, why you don’t say to
Raffa honestly that you like him. So, I wrote on my wall to inform him that you
like him for your kindness.” Kiki answered
“Yes, I’m too shy to confess it!
But, you don’t have to like that! You make me embarrass!”
“I’m so sorry. But, I believe he
didn’t know. Because I removed it after I posted in 1 minute
“I don’t need your explanation
anymore, away from me, please!” Ina asked
Kiki left Ina alone. Suddenly, fresh
blood out from Ina’s nose, it was 4 times that happened with Ina for this
month. She thought it was usual thing and never bothers it. Ina and Kiki was no
longer being a friend. Actually, Kiki was the best place for Ina to tell
everything that happened with her. Now, she has not had anymore.

Day 123
It was about 26 days for Raffa
before he left Jakarta; Ina has passed the National Examination and took in
University of Indonesia. She opened her Facebook again and made a good
relationship again with Kiki. But, they weren’t closer before.
When Ina went online on Facebook…
Raffa : hey Ina? How’s life?
Ina :
I’m fine and you? How’s your preparation, Raf?
Raffa : so far, so good J, Ina it’s
about 26 days before I go to France
Ina :
L I can’t see you anymore, Raf! Are you still
in EF?
Raffa : no, I’m not. Hahaha… you can see my face every time if you want
on Facebook
Ina :
LOL. Ok, Raffa I want to go Offline! Bon courage (keep spirit)…
Raffa : Good bye!
Day 149
“Au revoir, see you 5 years later”
it was status from Raffa on Facebook when he typed on the plane before it took
off. Ina could smile. Actually, she hurt.
23 days before…
EF course
That boy
shook hand with his friends one by one. One of his friends looked very sad, it
was his farewell. When he saw parking area, he directly ran…
“Ina, it’s
my last time to go here, thanks to god! You are here because I want to say
goodbye with my friends.” He said
“Ohh... Raffa! yes… get the best for
you study in France, good bye…
They shook hand each other, Raffa
saw Ina’s tears fell down.
“Are you
ok? Raffa said
“I’m fine,
Raffa I am being waited for my mother, Bye...
It was their
farewell; there were no special words to say by the chance. Ina went she said “Bye”
with Raffa. He didn’t realize that Ina was so sad. Ina again locked her
facebook after she saw the last status of Raffa on the Facebook.
Day 365
Raffa saw there were 2 messages on his Facebook…
Dear Raffa,
It’s my last message, Raffa…
glad be your friend, through this message, Ina want to say that Ina like you,
Raffa. Although, in our message there’s no special words. but, I think every
single word that Raffa wrote were very special and important for Ina.
Ina is no longer live in
this world, it’s hard to say but it’s the fact. As you know that Ina has fallen
with Raffa before Ina know more about Raffa. 242 days are long time for Ina to
let Raffa go... thank you, for all your messages. It’s all make Ina happy.Good
bye
The message was from Ina, and Raffa was
shocked after he read the second messages…

To : Raffa Algani
Subject : Ina
First, I
want to inform you that I’m Ina’s close friend. Raffa, I’m sorry to say that
Ina has died. She has leukemia and it was last stadium, she left this world 2
days ago. As Ina’s close friend, I just want to tell you about Ina. She was
cheerful and ignorant girl, since she knew that she has leukemia, her life
became dark. Because of you, she got her passion back, I knew that there’s no
special relationship between you and Ina. She has told me everything about you.
Actually, Ina always pay attention with every your come to EF course. You’re
the one that she likes very much. I lost contact with Ina since we took
different University. But, 14 days before she died, her sister informed me that
Ina was in hospital. I really surprised when I saw Ina in the hospital. It was
terrible. I remembered the last words that Ina spoke “He changed my life, thank
you.” And the last, I just want to say thank you, you’ve given my beloved
friend spirit. So, she can survive for enough time
Raffa was
speechless, he couldn’t cry. He could only say
